Forward Motion #4: Blackout Poetry

Blackout poetry by Keeks

April is National Poetry Month.

The library I work at decided to host an interactive display featuring blackout poetry.

Colleagues, students, and random guests are having a great time making art out of other people’s words.

Austin Kleon put a new spin on an idea and introduced people to Blackout Poetry:

Take a moment and give it a try. Take a discarded book, magazine, even a crossword puzzle and see what you can create.

I’d love to share your works on here at some point. Please send to my email as a jpeg. My email is theycallmekeeks {at} yahoo {dot} com

Can’t wait to see what you create!
