My Identity (In Christ)


I am beyond condemnation (Romans 8:1).

I am delivered from the law (Romans 7:6).

I am near God (Ephesians 2:13).

I am delivered from the power of evil (Colossians 1:13).

I am a member of his kingdom (Colossians 1:13).

I am justified (Romans 5:1).

I am perfect in Christ (Hebrews 10:14; Colossians 2:10; Ephesians 2:10).

God has adopted me. I am His Child (Romans 8:15-17; Galatians 4:5; Ephesians 1:5; 1 John 3:1-2).

I have access to God at any moment (Ephesians 2:18).

I am a part of his priesthood (1 Peter 2:5).

I will never be abandoned (Hebrews 13:5).

I have an imperishable inheritance (1 Peter 1:4).

I am a partner with Christ in life (Colossians 3:4) and privilege (Ephesians 2:6), suffering (2 Timothy 2:12), and service (1 Corinthians 1:9).

I am a member of his body (1 Corinthians 12:13).

I am a branch in the vine (John 15:5).

I am a stone in the building (Ephesians 2:19-22).

I am a bride for the groom (Ephesians 5:25-27).

I am a priest in the new generation (1 Peter 2:9).

I am a dwelling place of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19).

I possess every spiritual blessing possible (Ephesians 1:3).

I am a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I am accepted/worthy (Psalm 139; Romans 15:7).

I am never alone (Hebrews 13:5b; Romans 8:38-39).

I am adequate (2 Corinthians 3:5-6; Philippians 4:13).

I have all the boldness/confidence I need (Proverbs 3:26, 14:26, 28:1; Ephesians 3:12; Hebrews 10:19).

God is responsible/faithful to me (Psalm 138:8; Philippians 1:6, 2:13; 2 Thessalonians 3:3).

I have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians2:16; 2 Timothy 1:7; Ephesians 1:17).

I have all the hope I need (Psalm 27:13, 31:24, Romans 15:13, 5:5; Hebrews 6:19).

I have been chosen/set apart by God (Psalm 139; 1 Corinthians 1:30, 6:11; 2

Thessalonians 2:13).

I have no lack (Psalm 23:1; Philippians 4:19).

I am free from fear (Psalm 34:4; 2 Timothy 1:7; 1 Peter 5:7; 1 John 4:18).

I have all the faith I need (Romans 10:17; 12:3, Hebrews 12:2).

I am strong in Christ (Daniel 11:32, Isaiah 58:11; Philippians 4:13).

I am victorious (Romans 8:37, 2 Corinthians 2:14; John 5:4).

I have God’s wisdom (Proverbs 2:6-7; 1 Corinthians 1:30; Ephesians 1:17).

I am free in Christ (Psalm 32:7; 2 Corinthians 3:17; John 8:36).

I have God’s comfort (John 16:7; 2 Corinthians 1:34).

I am protected and safe (Psalm 32:7; Psalm 91).

I am very loved (John 15:9; Romans 8:38-39; Ephesians 2:4, 5:1-2).

I am totally forgiven and redeemed (Psalm 103:12; Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:14, 20, 2:13-14; Hebrews 10:10).

I have been declared holy, righteous and justified. I am a saint (Romans 3:24; 1 Corinthians 1:30, 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

I have God’s power. I am indwelt with the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8, Romans 8:9-11;

Ephesians 1:19, 3:16).

I am blameless (John 3:18, Romans 8:1, Colossians 1:22).

God does direct my life. He has a plan for me (Psalm 37:23, 138:8; Jeremiah 29:11; Ephesians 2:10).

I’ve been given a brand new life (2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 4:22-24).

I have authority over Satan (Colossians 1:13, 1 John 4:4, Revelation 12:11).

I am dead to sin (Romans 6:6, 11, 17-18).
